An occupational therapy professional is needed to support students in a school setting in Raleigh, NC. This role involves traveling between multiple schools to provide in-person therapy services tailored to individual student needs, promoting their physical, cognitive, and developmental growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy plans in school environments
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement therapy goals effectively
- Provide direct therapy services addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and other occupational therapy areas
- Document student progress and update treatment plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with educational and healthcare regulations and policies
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with state licensure valid for North Carolina
- Experience working in school-based settings, with knowledge of educational therapy requirements
- Comfortable with travel between multiple school locations within the Raleigh area
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
